Brenda Marquez is a Licensed Master Social Worker with a personal history of resilience and perseverance. As a traumatic brain injury (TBI) survivor, Brenda brings a deep sense of empathy and dedication to helping others overcome life’s challenges.
 
She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Fort Hays State University and went on to complete her Master of Social Work at the same institution within two years. Brenda works from a strengths-based, person-centered approach and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support each client’s unique journey. She enjoys working with individuals navigating life transitions, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, and self-acceptance.
 
Brenda has two years of experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and believes strongly in treating every person with the respect and dignity they deserve. She joined Iroquois Center for Human Development, Inc. in early 2026 and is committed to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
 
Outside of her work as a therapist, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family in Dodge, gardening, and engaging in a variety of outdoor activities.
