Common reasons for entering outpatient services:

- Anxiety Problems – Experiencing intense worry or general feelings of nervousness.
- Trauma and/or Loss – Difficult emotions resulting from challenging life events or a series of such events.
- Childhood Issues – Emotional or behavioral problems affecting a child’s performance in school or at home.
- Relationship Problems – Issues with a spouse or partner, as well as challenges in work and social relationships.
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy, often referred to as “counseling,” is a collaborative and dynamic process that unfolds between a client and a therapist. During these sessions, individuals have the opportunity to openly discuss their personal challenges and struggles in a safe and supportive environment. This dialogue not only helps in pinpointing specific issues but also in identifying meaningful goals that pave the way for personal growth. Together, the client and therapist work to formulate actionable steps that nurture the client’s journey towards holistic wellness and emotional resilience.
Group Therapy
This therapy service is led by a skilled licensed provider and brings together a cohesive group of individuals facing similar challenges. Participants have the opportunity to share their experiences and insights, fostering a supportive environment that is proven to facilitate recovery from common behavioral health issues. Each group typically comprises 6 to 10 members, allowing for meaningful interactions and connections. This collaborative approach not only enhances personal growth but also creates a sense of community among those who attend.
Family Therapy
Family therapy entails a series of guided sessions led by a licensed therapist, engaging the relevant family members in a collaborative atmosphere. This therapeutic approach serves as a powerful tool to foster open and constructive communication, allowing families to navigate and resolve their challenges together. In this supportive environment, participants can explore underlying issues, express their feelings, and develop healthier relationships, ultimately promoting healing and understanding within the family unit.
School-Based Therapy
We have partnered with local school districts to place a licensed outpatient therapist and a children’s case manager in the schools. This collaboration allows our team to work alongside school staff to address mental health concerns and schedule appointments at times that are convenient for the child. This approach reduces time spent out of the classroom, helping students stay on track with their classwork.
Psychotherapy takes a medication-free approach to mental wellness and serves as the foundation of mental health treatment. As a practice, psychotherapy centers itself in empathy and working closely with the patient. In session, patient and therapist assess the difficulties facing the patient and develop life-changing strategies for dealing with these issues. Typically, psychotherapy is patient-driven and, as such, unique to each patient.
Therapy can help people overcome obstacles to their well-being. It can increase positive feelings, such as compassion and self-esteem. People in therapy can learn skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. Many find they enjoy the therapeutic journey of becoming more self-aware. Some people even go to ongoing therapy for self-growth.
