ICHD Family - Iroquois Center for Human Development

Who We Are

The Iroquois Center for Human Development has been an area provider of public mental health services since 1968 with a catchment area of Clark, Comanche, Edwards, and Kiowa counties. Although the home office is located in Greensburg, branch offices are also located in Coldwater, Ashland, and Kinsley.

The Iroquois Center is governed by a Board of Governors, with three representatives from each of the four counties, and two at large Board members.

In addition to the Board of Governors, ICHD has established an Advisory Council to incorporate meaningful participation of clients, family members, advocates, and passionate community members.

Governing Board

The Governing Board is comprised of individuals who have demonstrated an interest in mental health and the growth and development of Iroquois Center for Human Development. Board members are appointed by the Board of County Commissioners and meet monthly to discuss progress, new programs, approve policies & budget, and monitor the general affairs of ICHD.

Advisory Council

The Advisory Council meets quarterly to evaluate programs and services and provide feedback from the perspective of adult clients with mental illness or substance use disorder, adults in recovery from, family members of clients, advocates for mental health, and other community members passionate about mental health.

The Advisory Council assists the Governing Board and Executive Director in the delivery of services, programs, policies, and procedures to meet the needs of individuals, families, and communities served by ICHD.
