Angie earned her undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and later completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Kansas, returning to graduate studies eight years after earning her bachelor’s degree.
With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Angie has served individuals and families across a wide range of settings. Her professional background includes work in child welfare as a family preservation therapist, social work services within a geriatric psychiatric inpatient unit, and therapy services for individuals of all ages. She has also served as a contracted school counselor, children’s program team lead, and currently holds the role of Adult Program Director and Nursing Facility for Mental Health (NFMH) Liaison, partnering with Haviland Care Center. In addition to her leadership roles, Angie continues to provide direct therapy services to clients across the lifespan.
Angie practices from a whole-person wellness perspective, recognizing that mental health is influenced by emotional, physical, social, and environmental factors. She is dedicated to helping individuals build stress tolerance, develop practical coping strategies, and improve daily functioning so life feels more manageable, balanced, and fulfilling.
In her spare time, Angie enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and watching true crime documentaries.
