Position Overview: The Iroquois Center for Human Development is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and groups across the lifespan. The Therapist will utilize evidence-based treatment modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications:

· Must hold a license from the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) at the intermediate or clinical level.

· Strong preference will be given to clinically licensed applicants.

· Intermediate licensed applicants must agree to pursue their clinical license and complete the process within two years of hire (clinical supervision provided).

· Training in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is preferred. Additional preferred modalities include (list others).

Responsibilities:

· Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients across the lifespan.

· Utilize CBT and other evidence-based treatment modalities to address a range of mental health concerns.

· Maintain a caseload that allows for 4 to 8 client contacts per day, totaling 5 to 6 hours of clinical work, depending on client acuity and family system needs.

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and treatment planning.

· Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

· Experience working in a CCBHC or CMHC setting.

Overview: The Iroquois Center for Human Development (ICHD) is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving Kiowa, Clark, Comanche, and Edwards counties. The Clinical Director is a key member of the executive leadership team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, person-centered behavioral health services consistent with CCBHC standards and state/federal regulations. This position provides strategic clinical leadership, oversees program implementation and outcomes, and supports staff development to promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide clinical oversight and direction for all treatment programs, including outpatient therapy, community-based services (ACT, CSS, CBS, SUD, etc.), crisis services, and integrated care.

· Ensure compliance with CCBHC standards, SAMHSA requirements, and KDADS/KDHE licensing and documentation guidelines.

· Supervise and support program managers, clinicians, and key staff in implementing evidence-based and recovery-oriented practices.

· Oversee clinical quality and performance improvement processes, including treatment planning, clinical documentation, and outcome tracking.

· Collaborate with the Executive Director and leadership team to align clinical operations with organizational strategy and financial sustainability.

· Support recruitment, onboarding, and supervision of licensed clinical staff and trainees.

· Participate in policy development, grant planning, and interagency coordination.

· Lead clinical crisis response protocols and provide consultation for complex cases.

· Maintain a small direct-service caseload as appropriate to model clinical excellence.

· Foster an organizational culture of teamwork, learning, and trauma-informed care.

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related behavioral health field.

· Licensure: Current Kansas BSRB license to practice independently (LSCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LCAC).

· Experience: Minimum 10 years of clinical experience providing behavioral health services, with demonstrated expertise in community mental health and integrated care models.

• Minimum 5 years of management or supervisory experience within a behavioral health or CCBHC setting.

· Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage programs, and collaborate with stakeholders.

· Knowledge: Strong understanding of CCBHC principles, including access, quality metrics, evidence-based practices, and cost-based reimbursement.

• Proficiency in clinical documentation, compliance, and EHR utilization.

• Familiarity with Kansas Medicaid, KDADS regulations, and SAMHSA reporting standards.

Overview: The Iroquois Center for Human Development, a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) serving four counties in Kansas, is seeking a Director of Community Support Services to oversee community-based services for adults with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and Severe Mental Illness (SMI). This position will provide strategic leadership for key programs, including Supported Employment (IPS) and Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), ensuring integrated, high-quality behavioral health services. The Director will also serve as a member of the leadership team, contributing to organizational strategy, policy development, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Provide oversight and strategic direction for community-based services supporting adults with SPMI and SMI.

· Direct and supervise the Supported Employment (IPS) program to facilitate vocational recovery and sustained employment for clients.

· Oversee the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program to ensure intensive, multidisciplinary support for individuals with complex mental health needs.

· Supervise, guide, and support clinical staff in delivering evidence-based interventions.

· Ensure compliance with all regulations set by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) at the intermediate or clinical level.

The Transitional program is designed as a step between higher levels of care and independent living, for persons struggling with severe and persistent mental health symptoms. It is widely known across the state of Kansas, and we are proud of the lives that our staff have impacted through this program! We provide 24/7 staffing for individuals residing in this program, and our staff teach skills needed to return to community based independent living.

This position provides one-on-one support and/or supervision to patients with severe and persistent mental illnesses in the activities of daily living or in maintaining daily routines critical to a stable lifestyle. Provide training in daily living skills to improve self-help that impact living in the community. Monitor progress toward meeting treatment plan goals. Provide support and supervision during patient crises.
